Aligarh Muslim University is a public university funded by the government of India. It ranks 9th among the top 10 institutions in the country. AMU was initiated as MAO College set up by Sir Syed Ahmed Khan. In the year of 1920 it had granted as AMU. It is affiliated as a central university approved by UGC. The university is a non-minority educational hub means open to all communities of the society and attracts the students of the nation and overseas. The University has faculty of law that regulates professional law courses.
AMU is situated in the heart of the Aligarh city the district of UP. The campus is spread over an area of 1155 acres of well developed land. The campus has a state of the art infrastructure houses in well designed buildings and amenities. The campus is well connected by the roads and rail.
AMU has more than 28,000 students, 1,342 faculty members and 5610 non-teaching staff.
The AMU scientist said that he had been working on these cells for a decade and has established a dedicated lab to initiate pioneer research on Cancer Stem Cells at AMU.
Jamia Millia Islamia has ranked among 751-800 best varsities in the world whereas Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has ranked among 801-1000 best varsities in the world.
Two buses were arranged by AMU administration for students to be escorted to their respective railway stations. Manipur Students boarded the train from Moradabad, whereas Kerala students boarded the train from New Delhi.
A 34 year old woman was treated by Prof Z Ahmad and Dr Ummatul Baneen, while the other patient, a 45 year old Man was treated by a panel of doctors comprising Prof FS Haque, Dr M Aslam, and Dr Owais Ashraf.
