Admission process for 19 ITI in Delhi will start from tomorrow

Training programs at ITI are designed to provide basic skills and knowledge in a specific trade to prepare a skilled or semi skilled for self-employment.

Delhi ITI admission 2022: The admission process for 19 Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in Delhi will start from 4th July i.e. tomorrow. The state government had announced the date of admission this week. A total of 11,336 seats can be secured this year in vocational/skill training courses covering a large number of economic sectors. Interested students will be able to apply online at the official website itidelhi.admissions.nic.in.

What are the types of ITI

Generally there are two trades in ITI. Engineering Trade and Non Engineering Trade.

Both trades are present at diploma and graduate level. You can choose any one course.

19 Delhi ITIs are offering more than 50 certificate courses in engineering and non-engineering trades including Carpenter, Electrician, Computer Operator & Programming Assistant, Interior Design & Decorator, Mechanic Auto Body Repair.

Students who take training in ITI can be self employed. He can start his own business. For example, one can set up their own garage or fabrication shop depending on the certificate course chosen. Those who have opted for Craft Instructor Training Program can work as Trainers in ITI. Students seeking training in technical trades or in the engineering domain can pursue further studies and enroll in diploma courses. The last date to apply is July 31 while the deadline for online document verification is August 2.

Candidates can exercise the choice filling option on 3rd August after which the provisional rank list will be displayed on the website on 5th August. The file rank list will be released on August 12.
