IMU Admission 2022: Indian Maritime University is the only university that is offering education in maritime in India after having recognition from UGC. The education in the field of Maritime is offered by IMU at the levels of UG, PG, and Doctorate. One can take admission to learn any of the disciplines among Nautical Science, Port & Shipping Management, Logistics, E-commerce, Retailing, Marine Engineering, International Transport, Logistics Management, etc. All of the admissions being offered by the University are offered through an entrance exam. IMU is the University that conducts its own entrance exam that is named as IMU Common Entrance Test (IMU-CET).

BSc: students can apply for admission in the BSc program to specialize in the field of Nautical Science. The overall score of all subjects got in the last passing exam of the 12th standard must be 60% and the score in the subject of English is required to be a minimum of 50%.
MSc: applications for MSc are made for the subjects of Commercial Shipping and Logistics. This course can be pursued by candidates who have done their graduation degree in the related field and have scored 60% overall score and 50% English score.
Diploma: IMU provides a Diploma in the subject of Nautical Science. This diploma can be taken by students who have either completed 10+2 with subjects of PCM and secured a 50% score or have a graduation degree with a score of 50%.

IMU Admission 2022

Indian Maritime University has announced to start taking applications for the multiple degree courses in the field of maritime. The courses of UG are here to be taken by candidates who hold a passing certificate of 12th standard and clear the IMU-CET. Entries for all the courses at the PG level are also based on Merit and on the entrance exam conducted by the University. For these entries, one should have a degree of graduation.

IMU UG Admission

BBA: Bachelors of Business Administration is the degree program in the professional fields of Retailing, Logistics, and E-Commerce. This course will have a completion period of about 3 years and requires eligibility for an intermediate degree.

IMU PG Admission

MBA: A master of Business Administration degree is pursued by students who hold a BBA degree. At IMU one can do MBA in various streams such as Port & shipping Management, and International Transportation and Logistics Management. It has a time period of two years.
