Kurukshetra University Admission 2022: Important Dates

Kurukshetra University is in the state of Haryana, and it was founded in 1956. It is also a member of the Association for Commonwealth Universities. Kurukshetra University Admission 2022: This university is the most popular, and students come here to get qualitative education. Admission to this university is open to students who want to study UG, PG, Diploma, M.Ed. PhD admission for the vacant seats is going on, interested students can apply online until 7 February 2022. After the deadline students need to pay a fine of INR 2000 as a late fine till 9 February 2022. The main entrance test for PhD admission will be held on 28 February 2022. The admissions process for the current 2022 academic year will start soon, but the university hasn’t released notifications regarding admissions.

Selection criteria for the UG and PG are based on merit scores. In contrast, for courses like M.Ed and PhD, there is compulsory entrance test clearance. Entrance tests like NET/JRF/GATE/ GPAT are required to appear, and the scores will decide the admission of the applicants.
Also, this university has some special relaxation for the students who belong to the Haryana state.
Application Fees: Students who belong to the general category are required to pay 800/- fees, and for the reserved category, students are required to pay 200/-.

Kurukshetra University Admission 2022

The Kurukshetra University offers a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses for the coming academic year 2022-23. The students must meet all the requirements listed in the prospectus or on the university’s official website. Applications for the university’s courses will soon be released.

If a student is willing to get admission in any of the Undergraduate courses, they will have to submit a copy of the result card of 12th grade.
Students who wish to enroll in any of the Postgraduate courses must submit a copy of their Bachelor’s result card.

KUK UG Admission

BA: Kurukshetra University offers Bachelor of Arts degree courses in many specializations. It is a 3 year-long duration full-time programme. students to get admission to BA course must have completed their 12th board in any discipline.
B.Com: The students that have completed their intermediate in Commerce will be eligible to get admission to this programme. A Bachelor of Commerce degree takes a minimum of 3 years to complete.
B.Lib Sc: It is a 1-year UG level programme in library science. The students that have got A+ grades in the bachelor’s degree in a relevant field will be eligible to get admission in B.Lib Sc.

Kurukshetra University PG Admission

MA: Kurukshetra University is offering students to get admission to the Master of Arts programme after completion of Graduation in the same discipline. The degree must be obtained from any UGC recognized university in India. Students can choose among the specializations like MA in Hindi, English, Political Science, etc.
M.Com: Master of Commerce is a postgraduate level degree programme that takes 2 years to complete. The students who have completed their Graduation in Commerce will be eligible to get admission to this course.
MBA: The Master’s of Business Administration is one of the most popular courses available at Kurukshetra University. This degree takes a minimum of two years to complete. The applicant must have completed a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50%. Based on their performance on the qualifying entrance exam, students will be assigned seats. The most common entrance tests for MBA course admission are CAT, MAT, etc.

KUK University Ph.D. Admission

Kurukshetra University offers various specializations for Ph.D. programmes. The students need to have a master’s degree in order to be admitted to this programme at KUK. The admission is based on merit scored in the entrance test conducted by the university.

Kurukshetra University Entrance Exam 2022

KUK Entrance Examination is a way for students to get entry to different departments of the University for learning under UG and PG categories. This entrance exam is held once a year on the state scale. This test is open to students from all throughout the country who choose to participate. In order to make an application for this entrance exam, the link https://www.kuk.ac.in is here to open the online web portal of KUK to complete your applications.

The courses are BFA, B-Tech, BSc, B.Ed, MBA, M-Tech, and M.Ed for which KUK Entrance Exam is conducted. The University will itself organize the test. The test will be conducted offline in the pen paper based mode. The exam duration will be 2 hours and its pattern will be somehow different based on the course for which it is taken. It is obvious that the syllabus for each course is different. There will be a different date for the entrance exam for each level.

UG Entrance examinations

The university will accept B.Tech applicants that have JEE Main scorecards only.
For B.Pharmacy, students must have passed the HSTES entrance examination.
Kurukshetra University admission committee will conduct entrance examinations for LLB, BFA programs, BALLB, BEd, BPEd, BSC programs, BHMT, and BLibSc. Students that wish to pursue these courses do not need to write national or state entrance examinations. During their admission process, the admission committee will conduct the entrance examinations. The dates on which the entrance examinations will be conducted will be posted on this website.

PG Entrance Examinations

Admission to MA, MPEd, MSc, MPES, MCom, LLM, MSW, MCA, and MBA is based on the Common Entrance Examination(CEE). Students who pass the qualifying test will be invited for the KUK’s centralized counselling.
For MTech admission, the university has an entrance examination. Students that have GATE scorecards will be exempted from this examination.
The MA, MSC, and M.Pharmacy admission will be based on a counselling session run by the MDU Rohtak.
Students wishing to enrol in MA programs can also write the Common Entrance Test and participate in a counselling session conducted by the KUK.
LLM, MSc, MPEd, MCA, M Pharmacy, and MSW students must have passed the Common Entrance Test to be allowed in a counselling session conducted by the PET.

Kurukshetra University Application Form 2022

Kurukshetra University is known for the UG PG and Diploma courses and the admission process of this university has ended for session 2021. Pay INR 800 as an admission fee (INR 200 for Haryana SC / ST / PH / blind applicants).
A student must pay a fee of Rs.300 / – for each course if he/she applies for more than one course (Rs.75 / – for SC / BC / Blind for Haryana applicants only).
Keep the registration number safe and note it in case future entries are required.
