Tamil Nadu Open University Admission 2022: TNOU Updates

Tamil Nadu Open University Admission 2022: 20 August 2022 is the last date to apply for TNOU Admission 2022-23. Tamil Nadu Open University was set up in 2002. The establishment’s motto was to provide open and distance programs to the students who needed to complete their left educational journey. The university structures programs like UG, PG, PG Diploma, and Certificate courses. For the 2022 academic session, students can enrol in courses like BA, BBA, BCA, B.Sc, MA, MCA, M.Sc, MBA, and MCom. 

TNOU is recognized by NCTE, UGC, DEB, and RCI. It offers a 3-year UG and 2-year Master’s program in various areas. The criterion for each discipline is different. Always check the complete details from the university website before applying for a particular course or program. University will soon open admission for the year 2022.

Application Fee: TNOU charges a registration fee of approximately Rs. 300 for its undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The applicant who wishes to pursue the short-term program will have to pay a deposit of Rs. 100. All admissions are based on merit. UG admission is required to pass the 12th board examinations. Candidates must be passed their graduation degree in a relevant stream or program to be considered for post-graduation.

Tamil Nadu Open University UG Admission

• BA: The university offers Bachelor of Arts programmes in many streams. Candidates with 10+2 with a good score can apply for this course. It is a UG level degree that can be completed in 3 years.
• BBA: TNOU offers BBA courses through its management schools. A Bachelor of Business Administration is a UG level professional degree that takes 3 years to complete. Students who hold 10+2 can submit a form for this degree.
• BCA: The students who have successfully completed their 10+2 exams can submit a form for this degree. Bachelor of computer application is also a UG level degree programme. The duration Of this course is 3 years.

• MA: Master of Arts is a postgraduate level degree in arts that takes 2 years to complete. The students with a 50% or above score in their graduation program can apply for this degree at Tamil Nadu Open University.
• MCA: Candidates must hold a graduation degree in the same stream to get admission to this course at Tamil Nadu Open University. The admission will be based on merit scored by the candidate in bachelors degree result.
• M.Sc: Masters of Science is a PG level degree programme that can be completed in 2 years. The students who hold a graduation degree from a known institute are eligible to apply for this program. Candidates can choose from a wide range of subjects.
