KCET answer key likely to release @ kea.kar.nic.in on May 25, check evaluation of marks and other details

This year, 2,600,000 students are scheduled to take the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET), which is being administered from May 20 to May 22 across the state. 

KCET answer key update: KCET answer key is likely to release on May 25, according to reports. This year, 2,600,000 students are scheduled to take the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET), which is being administered from May 20 to May 22 across the state.

There are 592 examination centres in Karnataka where 1,400,000 girls and 1,210,000 boys will take the exam. 121 centres out of the 592 centres are located in Bengaluru.

KCET is a gateway for admission into professional courses for government share of seats in Medical, Dental, Indian systems of medicine and Homeopathy, Engineering / Architecture Courses, Farm Science i.e. BSc (Agriculture), BSc (Sericulture), BSc (Horticulture), BSc Agri Bio Tech, BHSc (Home Science), among other professional courses.

This year marks the first time that the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) administers the CET for BSc nursing programmes.

According to KEA, approximately 16,000 non-Kannadiga students are registered for this exam and are exempt from taking the mandatory Kannada exam.
However, the mandatory Kannada exam for Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga students will be administered on May 22.

Marks evaluation

Officials from the KEA also stated that, as with every year, students will be evaluated based on 50% of their PUC marks and 50% of their CET marks.

KCET answer key: How to donwload online

  • Step 1:  visit the official website – kea.kar.nic.in.
  • Step 2: Go to the KCET answer key option (link to be activated soon).
  • Step 3: To log in, enter credentials such as your roll number and other information.
  • Step 4: Select the “Submit” button.
  • Step 5: The screen will display your KCET answer key.
  • Step 6: The KCET answer key can be downloaded and printed for future reference.
