NTA releases NEET 2023 Official Answer key; Raise objections till June 6

The NEET-UG 2023 examination took place on May 7, 2023, in Pen and Paper format, and in thirteen languages across the nation.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has just published the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) – UG 2023 answer key on its official website, neet.nta.nic.in.

The NEET-UG 2023 examination took place on May 7, 2023, in Pen and Paper format, and in thirteen languages across the nation. This examination serves as a standard and uniform admissions test for all medical institutions’ undergraduate medical education programmes.

The NTA administered the NEET (UG)–2023 to a total of 2,087,449 candidates at 4,097 distinct centres in 499 cities across India, as well as 14 cities outside India. Examinees can now download the provisional answer keys, scanned images of OMR answer sheets, and recorded responses from the official website to contest them.

Candidates must pay a non-refundable administrative fee of Rs 200 per answer challenged in order to contest the answer key. The payment can be made via a variety of methods, including debit card, credit card, internet banking, and Paytm. It is essential to note, however, that challenges will only be accepted if the processing charge is paid by June 6, 2023 (no later than 11:50 p.m.). The NTA will not accept any challenges without payment of the processing fee.

The challenges posed by the candidates will be evaluated by a council of subject-matter specialists assembled by the NTA. If a challenge is determined to be valid, the answer key will be revised and applied to all candidates. Based on the decisions of the experts, the final answer key will be used to compile and announce the results. It is important to note that no candidate will be informed of the approval or rejection of their challenge. After June 6, 2023 (until 11:50 p.m.), no additional challenges will be accepted for the key that was finalised following the challenge procedure.

Candidates are encouraged to consult the official websites of the NTA (www.nta.ac.in) and NEET (UG) – 2023 (neet.nta.nic.in) for the most recent updates and notifications. Contact 011-40759000 or send an email to neet@nta.ac.in for any additional clarifications or questions.
