Tata Jet Edition Models Launched In India

The Jet Edition models of the Tata Safari, Harrier, and Nexon are based on the top-spec variants and offer many new features and cosmetic tweaks

Tata is known for regularly updating its portfolio with the launch of special edition models and recently launched the new Jet Edition models of the Tata Harrier, Tata Safari, and the Tata Nexon. Here are the top 5 things you should know about these new Tata Jet edition models.

Updated Looks

To start with, the new Tata Jet Edition models will feature a new Starlight dual-tone exterior paint scheme that will be complemented by gloss black elements, silver skid plats and new all-black alloy wheels.

Better Safety

The new Jet Edition models of the Tata Safari and the Harrier will also get many new safety features including driver drowsiness alert, panic brake alert, and after impact braking. You will also get features like an electronic parking brake and all-four disc brakes on the Harrier.

New Features

Inside, the jet Edition models will get many new features like a USB C-type charger in all rows, new and more comfortable head restraints, an electronic parking brake, and a wireless charger depending on the model that you opt for.

No Mechanical Changes

All three SUVs are offered with the same powertrain as well as a mechanical setup. Starting with the Nexon first, the SUV continues to be offered with the same 120 hp 1.2L turbocharged petrol engine and 110 hp 1.5L turbo diesel engine. The Tata Harrier and the Tata Safari continue to get the same 170 hp, 2.0L diesel engine that is offered with the standard iterations of the SUV. Likewise, the mechanical setup too is the same as the standard iterations.

Tata Jet Edition Price In India

The Tata Nexon Jet Edition price starts from Rs 12.13 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the petrol version while the diesel version is priced from Rs 13.43 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Tata Safari Jet Edition is priced from Rs 21.35 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) while the Tata Harrier Jet Editon price starts from Rs 20.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Nexon EV Jet Edition was also launched recently.
