Alex Gaskarth Biography: Alexander William Gaskarth is an English-born American singer and composer who was born on December 14, 1987. He has been the lead singer, rhythm guitarist, and main songwriter for the American rock band “All Time Low” since the band’s formation in 2003. He’s in charge of a podcast too. Early Life

On December 14, 1987, Alexander William Gaskarth was born. He was born to Isobel Gaskarth and Peter Gaskarth. He was born in Essex, England. When Gaskarth was six or seven years old, his family moved to Baltimore, Maryland, USA. He was moved from a private school to a public school when he was in middle school. It was there that he met Jack Barakat and became best friends with him. It was the beginning of high school when they met Rian Dawson and Zack Merrick. Lisa Ruocco, an event producer for Union3 Event Productions, and Gaskarth got married in Baltimore on April 9, 2016, after dating for a long time. Since high school, he had been seeing her. They were together for 12 years before they got married.

Career

Gaskarth started singing pop-punk songs when he was a teenager. He joined a band called “Crew Fighters” in 2002 and sang cover songs with them. Because of his friendship with Jack Barakat, he quit the group in 2003 and joined the band that would become known as “All Time Low.” The band played cover songs by “Green Day” and “Blink-182.”

Later, Zack Merrick and Rian Dawson joined “All Time Low,” making the full band. In 2004, Gaskarth and his friends signed their first record deal with Emerald Moon Records. Their first EP, “Three Words to Remember in Dealing with the End,” came out in 2005. The band’s first studio album, “The Party Scene,” came out in 2006.

The band’s success kept going. Around 2006, they signed with Hopeless Records. In 2007, their platinum hit “Dear Maria, Count Me In” came out, along with their second studio album “So Wrong, It’s Right.” In the years that followed, they put out albums and singles that did very well on the charts.

From 2004 to 2008, Gaskarth played a number of Gibson SG-X guitars. By the middle of 2013, Gaskarth was using some custom-made Paul Reed Smith guitars. The Mira was the most notable of these. In an AMA on Reddit, he said that he gave up the instruments because it was hard to get parts while he was away. Gaskarth usually plays Fender guitars, especially Mustang 90 models, but he’s also been seen playing Telecasters and acoustic guitars. Gaskarth has also played Gibson electric guitars.

When Gaskarth was 12, his older brother Tom died from drinking too much. Gaskarth loved his brother so much that he got a rose tattoo on his left hand to show his love. ‘Rest in peace, Tom’ was used in one of his band’s music videos, which came out in May 2017. In honor of his brother, he wrote the songs “Lullabies” and “Therapy” on All Time Low’s album “Nothing Personal.”
