Edward Duncan Ernest Gould Biography: Edward Duncan Ernest Gould, more commonly referred to as Edd Gould, was born to Duncan and Susan Gould on October 28, 1988, in Isleworth, London. Where Gould attended the Orleans Park School, he met Matt Hargreaves, his future collaborator. He began creating GIF animations in 2002, which he subsequently uploaded to Stick Figure Death Theater. After the website ceased accepting GIF submissions, Gould initiated his education in flash animation. He met Thomas Ridgewell and Tord Larsson shortly thereafter. Following their friendship, Gould ultimately incorporated them into “Eddsworld.” Gould uploaded his inaugural entry to Newgrounds in 2003 under the appellation “Edd.” In 2006, he uploaded the initial “Eddsworld” video to his YouTube channel.

2006 marked the diagnosis of leukemia for Gould. He continued his education at the University for the Creative Arts (U.C.A.M.) in Maidstone, England, notwithstanding his illness, and commenced his animation profession in 2008. In the same year, he became a member of Cake Bomb, Ridgewell’s creative media division, and provided the voice for the “I Like Trains” child in the animated YouTube series “Asdfmovie,” which was created under the alias TomSka. Gould provided animation for the second episode of the “Asdfmovie” film. The artist disclosed in 2011 that he had received a diagnosis of acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Consequent infections resulting from his ailment led to the demise of the youthful animator on March 25, 2012. Three days later, Ridgewell and Hargreaves released the brief video “R.I.P.
