When he was just three years old, Plemons began his acting career in Coca-Cola commercials. As early as age eight, he was already auditioning in Los Angeles for roles in films and landing small roles. At a young age, he began his acting career in films such as “Varsity Blues” and “All the Pretty Horses.”

He has lately appeared on episodes including “Walker, Texas Ranger,” “Sabrina, the Teenage Witch,” “Judging Amy,” “The Lyon’s Den,” “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” and “Grey’s Anatomy.” His breakout role came in the 2002 comedy “Children on Their Birthdays.”

After turning 18, Plemons was prepared to take on adult responsibilities. During this time period, he joined the cast of “Friday Night Lights” as the main character’s best friend. Jesse became a key character and a member of the show’s primary football team by the second season.
