Outdoor Championships in the 100-meter hurdle and the 4100 relay. She subsequently won the 60-meter race at the 2003 N.C.A.A. Championships. Jones finished sixth in the 100m hurdles at the 2006 World Athletic Finals and was ranked fourth in the United States and seventh in the world by the monthly sports publication “Track & Field News.”

In 2007, Jones claimed her first national title in the 60-meter hurdles by setting a new record of 7.88 seconds. Jones’ most emotional moment at the 2008 Beijing Olympics occurred when she finished in seventh position after falling over the hurdles twice. Elana Meyers introduced her to bobsledding after her 2008 disappointment. Jones and her colleague Jasmine Fenlator placed second in Jones’s first World Cup bobsled competition on November 9, 2012. Jones won the 100-meter heat hurdles at the 2012 Summer Olympics with a time of 12.68 seconds, but she placed fourth in the finals later that day with a time of 12.58 seconds. In 2013, Jones won her first season at the Seiko Golden Grand Prix in Tokyo by finishing in 12.92 seconds. In 2015, Jones won the 100-meter hurdles at the North American, Central American, and Caribbean Championships (N.A.C.A.C.) with a time of 12.63 seconds. In 2020, she competed in the 100-meter hurdles and 100-meter dash finals at the Mississippi College Season Opener for the first time outdoors.

Jones chose the moniker ‘Lolo’ in order to avoid having the same name as her mother. Jones is a devout Christian who frequently prays before competitions. She resides in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Asics and Red Bull are her sponsors. She has also participated in charitable acts.
