Louis William Tomlinson is a famous English singer and songwriter who has made a name for himself. The day he was born, December 24, 1991, in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, England, he became Louis Troy Austin. Johannah Austin and Troy Austin split up when Tomlinson was a toddler. He is Belgian and took his stepfather’s last name as his own. Tomlinson grew up in a mixed-race home after his mother got married again. He went to Hall Cross Academy and Hayfield School.

Career

Tomlinson’s early work includes roles on TV shows like “Fat Friends,” “If I Had You,” and “Waterloo Road.” He tried out for “The X Factor” in 2009 but didn’t get the job. Tomlinson came back in 2010 and got three “yes”es from the judges. He didn’t make it to the next round in the competition for boys, though, so he was put in a group. Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, and Harry Styles are also in this group. They were known as One Direction. While still in the race, the band became more well-known in the UK and came in third. The band signed with Syco Records in 2011.

Their first song, “What Makes You Beautiful,” came out in September 2011, and their first album, “Up All Night,” came out in November of that same year. Some of the band’s books were on the “New York Times” Best Seller list. Before their third record, “Midnight Memories,” came out in 2013, they went on tours and put out a documentary concert film. Their fourth album, “Four,” came out in 2014. It was Zayn Malik’s last record with the group. After the group’s break, Tomlinson started Triple Strings Ltd. in 2015 as a record company.

‘Back to You’ with Bebe Rexha and Digital Farm Animals and ‘Just Like You’ were two songs that the singer put out in 2017. In 2018, he was a judge on the 15th season of “The X Factor.” He signed with Arista Records in 2019 and his first solo record, “Walls,” came out in January 2020. The singer signed with BMG by 2021.
