Monal Gajjar Biography: Monal Gajjar is an Indian actress and model who appears predominantly in Telugu and Gujarati films. Her first film was the 2012 Telugu film Sudigadu. She also appeared in the 2021 Satish Kaushik-directed Hindi film Kaagaz, a satire on the Indian governance system.

Early Years

Gajjar was born on the 13th of May to a Gujarati family in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. While completing her business degree, she began working at ING Vysya Bank. In 2011, at the suggestion of her yoga instructor, Gajjar entered and ultimately won Radio Mirchi’s Mirchi Queen Bee beauty contest. Later, she was also crowned Miss Gujarat.

Career

Before the release of her first film, Gajjar signed contracts for five films, including Tamil and Telugu films. (Reference Required) She made her Malayalam debut with Dracula in 2012.[7] She made a special appearance in the film directed by Asha Bhonsle. (Reference Required) On the same day, her first two Tamil films Vanavarayan Vallavarayan[8] and Sigaram Thodu were released.

The evaluations for Gajjar’s performance in Sigaram Thodu were positive. According to IndiaGlitz.com’s assessment, both Monal’s appearance and performance are clean and appealing.[9] Gajjar received favourable evaluations for Vanavarayan Vallavarayan, as well. Behindwoods.com opined that the tall Monal Gajjar is stunningly beautiful with sparkling eyes and possesses all the necessary qualities to become Tamil Nadu’s next major glam sensation. Though her role loses significance in the second half, she performs competently and lip-syncs accurately.[10]

In September 2020, Gajjar became one of the first contestants on the Telugu reality television programme Bigg Boss 4. She was evicted in December, before the last week of the month.

Family

Her father passed away, and she currently resides with her mother. Hemali Gajjar is her younger sibling; her mother’s name is Gita Gajjar.
