BPSC 67th Exam: PT exam tomorrow, know important rules, instructions and guidelines

BPSC 67th Exam: The 67th Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Examination to be conducted by Bihar Public Service Commission will be held tomorrow on 30 September (Friday) in single shift (12 AM to 2 PM). Patna District Magistrate Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh and SSP Manavjit Singh Dhillon have said that the 67th Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Examination organized by Bihar Public Service Commission, Patna will be conducted in a clean, malpractice free and peaceful environment. Adequate number of magistrates and police officers have been deputed for this. In view of the examination, 114 static magistrates-cum-observers and 32 zonal magistrates have been deputed. The duty of 16 (sixteen) safe magistrates has been put in the district control room. Addressing the Central Superintendents, Magistrates, Police Officers and other officials in the briefing held in Shri Krishna Memorial Hall on Wednesday, the DM said that Bihar Examination Conduct Act, 1981 is applicable on the examinations of Bihar Public Service Commission. If any candidate is found contravening this provision, necessary action will be taken against him.

He said that strictest action would be taken against persons attempting or abetting malpractice. On the occasion of examination, the control room (0612-2215354) located at the commission office, Patna will remain functional. This control room will be active from 29th September (from 10 am to 6 pm). The concerned sub-divisional magistrate will enforce prohibitory orders under section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for the entire duration of the examination on the day of the examination in and outside the premises of the examination centres.

The entry of the candidates to the examination center will be from 10.30 am and the last admission will be till 11 am. Between 11 to 11.30 in the examination hall, the invigilator will be sure that the examinees do not have any prohibited material.

Keep these important rules in mind

The exam will start from 12 noon but the entry in the exam center will be till 11 pm only. No candidate will be admitted after 11 PM.

No examinee and invigilator will leave the room between 12 o’clock and 2 o’clock in the examination period.
The candidate is prohibited to carry electronic material like mobile, bluetooth, Wi-Fi gadget, electronic pen, pager, wrist watch (general/smart) etc. in the examination hall. If the above materials are found with the candidate, the candidate will be liable for penal/disciplinary action, under which his/her candidature will be cancelled. They may be debarred from taking part in this examination and upcoming examinations of the Commission.

Those whose photograph and signature are blurred or unclear or blank in the admit card, such candidates will have to bring a declaration form and some documents with them to the examination center on the day of examination. Candidates will have to give these documents to the center superintendent present at the examination centre.

Any kind of mark, underline, marking is not allowed in OMR answer sheet. Read the instructions given on the admit card and the instructions on the OMR sheet carefully. In the OMR answer sheet, fill the circles correctly by definitely mentioning the question booklet series and roll number, otherwise it will not be verified.

Candidates whose exam center address has undergone minor modification can download their new admit card.

The total number of examinees in Patna district is 55 thousand 837 (fifty-five thousand eight hundred thirty-seven). This is being done at 85 examination centers in the district. All the candidates appearing for this examination will have to download the admit card from the website of the commission and only such admit card is valid for appearing in the examination.
