BPSC 67th PT Exam 2022: Marks will be given in percentile in 67th prelims exam

Due to this, the Bihar Public Service Commission has decided to give marks on the basis of percentile in the 67th Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Examination.

BPSC 67th PT Exam 2022: BPSC 67th PT will be conducted on 20th September and 22nd September 2022. That is, the exam will be held in more than one shift.

Due to this, the Bihar Public Service Commission has decided to give marks on the basis of percentile in the 67th Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Examination.

Candidates should not equate percentile score with percentile score. The percentile score is based on the performance of all the candidates who have appeared in the exam for that shift. The marks obtained for each shift of the examinees in the percentile are converted into a scale of 100 to 0. Percentage means how many marks have been scored in 100 in each subject, whereas percentile means how many candidates whose marks are less or equal to you (less or equal raw marks). Percentile means how many students got more marks than you.

For example, if your percentile is 70 percent, it means that you have scored more marks than 70 percent of the candidates. Recently, it has been decided to introduce percentile system in Railway Group D recruitment exam also. Earlier, in CAT, JEE Main also, the score was given in the percentile.

More than six lakh candidates have applied for the 802 posts of BPSC 67th. The candidates were very upset due to the delay in the announcement of the new date of BPSC 67th examination. He was constantly demanding to release the exam date on social media.
