100 Years of DU: The University of Delhi (DU) on Monday announced that final year students who have dropped out due to some reason can appear for the examination and complete their degree. For this, registration has to be done under ‘Shatabdi Awaskar’. DU has given this opportunity to the final year dropouts in view of its centenary celebrations which began on May 1.
The Dean of Examinations of the university said that students of undergraduate, postgraduate and vocational courses who have taken admission in regular courses, students of Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board (NCWEB), School of Open Learning (SOL) and external cells will be able to apply for registration. Ex-students can submit their registration form for Centenary Opportunity Exam till 8th August 2022. The faculties, departments, colleges and centers under the university have been asked to complete the verification and verification of the registration forms filled by such students by August 9, 2022.
Alumni can also fill their registration form using the Delhi University online student portal link. After filling the registration form, students can keep a printout of the filled form for further contact. Provisional admit cards will be issued to the students after the registration form is verified by the respective faculties, departments, colleges or centres. Candidates can get the information by visiting the website of the examination department.
