AMU alumnus selected for Prime Minister’s Research Fellowship

Prof Kunwar Farahim Khan, Chairman of the department, congratulated Khan on the achievement, adding that his selection will bring laurels to the university and will inspire other students.

Mohammad Nawaz Khan, an alumnus of the Department of Geology, Aligarh Muslim University, who is currently pursuing PhD at the IIT Bombay under the joint PhD programme of the IITB-Monash Research Academy (a major Indian-Australian research collaboration), has been selected for the prestigious Prime Minister’s Research Fellowship Scheme (Cycle-11), under the direct entry scheme.
