AMU Teachers’ Day Celebration with Fervour

AMU Teachers’ Day Celebration: At various departments and institutions of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), the teachers’ day was commemorated with enthusiasm and fervour.

The College of Nursing organised the event in the Multipurpose Hall where Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was honoured. His birth anniversary is celebrated as Teachers’ Day.

The principal, Prof. Dr. Farha Azmi, lauded the significant contributions made by teachers in shaping the futures of students and ensuring their success in life. She also discussed the life and contributions of Dr. Radhakrishnan.

Dr. Radhakrishnan, the second President of India, was the subject of a speech by Nandini Singh, while Saif Ali Siddiqui spoke about the significance of instructors in one’s life.

As chairman of the Co-Curricular Committee, Mrs. Shivani Masih inspired the students’ overall growth.

Mohd. Rehan and Zahida Parveen hosted the programme, while Dhwani Goel proposed a vote of gratitude.

AMU Teachers’ Day Celebration By ABK Girls High School

The AMU ABK Girls High School celebrated teachers’ day with pomp and circumstance. The students presented the staff with exquisite handcrafted cards, which was greatly appreciated.

The school assembly ground was exquisitely decorated with flowers and garlands for the event, and all students wore uniforms to the programme. The students also decorated the classrooms for the event.

The Vice Principal and the Teachers cut the ribbon to begin the ceremony. Primary students performed a dance and performance.

Dr. Saba Hasan, vice principal, congratulated the faculty and praised the students for their performance.

At the AMU City Girls’ High School, the programme began with a special Assembly conducted by the students of X A & X B. Mehwish, a student of the school, arrived in costume as Dr. S. Radhakrishnan.

After the Assembly, the student instructors taught the first four periods. On the basis of discipline, content, confidence, and a blackboard summary, the instructors of the school evaluated their teaching abilities. In addition to cleanliness, grace, and discipline, the Decoration of the classes was also assessed.

The School’s Instructors also presented a cultural programme. Ms. Sahar Naqvi recited a poem she had written herself, while Ms. Ambreen Rehman sang a melodic Ghazal. Tariq Hafeez and Nazia Khan both gave speeches. Ms. Tanveer Jahan read and explained the significance of a couplet, while Ms. Asmita Chaudhary and Ms. Urooja Khan told stories.

Samar Zahid provided a biography of Dr. S. Radhakrishnan. Mr. Zia-ul-Haq laid stress on the function of a teacher in the present scenario. Ms. Nazish Siddiqui recited a Nazm on the day honouring teachers. Mr. Ahmad Omar discussed the function of educators within the context of Islam. Kainat Farooq cited a Hadith regarding the function of educators. Ms. Daraksha Nayyar presented a poem she had written herself. Ms. Sabiha Khan’s short note was commendable.

Tanveer Sultana and Pakeeza Khan also voiced their opinions. Mr. Ismail Beg’s riddles made everyone guffaw. Ms. ZarreenNaaz’s soulful Ghazal touched the audience’s souls profoundly. Mr. Javed Akhtar, Vice-Principal of the school, described his path to the institution. According to him, a teacher must be aware of technological advancements because their benefits are numerous. The programme was conducted by Saima Nadeem and Sana Shamshad.

Dr. MD. Alamgir, the school’s principal, gave mementos to the complete teaching staff. He inspired the instructors to be well-informed and to demonstrate their affection for the students. He stated, “Teachers should be role models, as they are the nation’s builders.”
