In the BPSC 67th Preliminary Examination to be held tomorrow, candidates will be able to enter the examination hall without wearing a wristwatch. The Bihar Public Service Commission has asked to keep a special watch on the wrist watch in the guideline. The DM apprised about the guidelines of the commission in a meeting with all the 58 central superintendents of the district on Wednesday in the review building. The DM gave information regarding the maintenance of law and order regarding the examination, examination conduct, monitoring, safely transporting the question papers to the center and returning the answer sheets in a sealed packet to Patna in return.
The DM told in the meeting that this time the examination will be held at 53 centers in Bhagalpur urban area and five centers in Navgachia. About 27 thousand candidates are expected to appear in the examination. To control the examination, monitoring will be done by dividing it into 28 zones. Static magistrates, female and male policemen, along with patrol cum zonal magistrates and fly magistrates have been deployed at all the centres. All the invigilators doing the work of monitoring in the examination will also be checked. Without mobile they will enter the examination hall. The Static Magistrate shall also be the Observer of his centre. Therefore all monitoring will be his responsibility.
The Static Magistrate will reach the center by 10 am. No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination center after 11 am, one hour before the commencement of the examination. Also, no candidate will be allowed to leave the examination hall before the end of the examination period i.e. 2 pm. No candidate will be allowed to carry electronic material like calculator, mobile, bluetooth, wifi gadget, electronic pen, pager, wrist watch (general/smart) etc. as well as material like whitener, eraser and blade in the examination center . Senior superintendent of police, superintendent of police (city) and Navgachia along with other concerned officers and central superintendents were present in the meeting.
