Chhatravritti Yojana: Children of journalists will get up to Rs 13500 pre-matric and post-matric scholarship

Under the Post Matric Scholarship Scheme, scholarship will be given to the children of approved journalists studying in higher education institutions. There is a provision of Rs 4,000 to 13,500 for hostellers and Rs 2,500 to 7,000 for day scholars.

Scholarship 2022: Children of approved journalists of Rajasthan will get pre-matric and post-matric scholarships. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has approved the notification prepared by the Information and Public Relations Department in this regard. This approval has been given by the Rajasthan government only on September 9.

Post-matric scholarship up to Rs 13,500

Under the Post Matric Scholarship Scheme, scholarship will be given to the children of approved journalists studying in higher education institutions. There is a provision of Rs 4,000 to 13,500 for hostellers and Rs 2,500 to 7,000 for day scholars.

The post-matric scholarship scheme is divided into four sections. A scholarship of Rs 13,500 will be given to hostellers and Rs 7,000 to day scholars for professional degree courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level. Hostellers studying in various professional courses offering degree and diploma certificates will get a scholarship of Rs 9,500 and day scholars will get a scholarship of Rs 6,500. At the same time, for various non-degree courses after 10th standard, an annual scholarship of Rs 4,000 to hostellers and Rs 2,500 to day scholars and Rs 6,000 to hostellers pursuing other undergraduate and postgraduate courses and Rs 3,000 to day scholars. provision has been made.

Pre-Matric Scholarship to students from class 6th to 10th

Under the pre-matric scholarship, the children of approved journalists studying in class 6 to 10 will get scholarship. In this, a maximum of 10 months in a year, a pre-matric scholarship of about 1000 rupees (100 rupees per month) will be given.

The Information and Public Relations Department of the Government of Rajasthan informed that the Chief Minister in the Budget 2022-23 had announced scholarship for the children of journalists in the direction of providing social security to the journalists keeping in mind the important role of journalists in making the society aware. Implementing this announcement, approval has been given to give scholarship to the children of journalists from the Journalist and Literary Welfare Fund in Rajasthan.
