Dr. Joshi is a former dean of the Ayurveda faculty, professor, and director of the Ayurveda and Yoga department at Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth, Pune. He has over 23 years of teaching, research, administration, and institution-building experience. Since 2017, he has been a member of the NAAC Peer Team. He is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Presidential Award, the Maharshi Badrayan Vyas Samman in 2019 Young Scientist Award, and the Pride of India 2021 Award, among others.
