DU Admission 2022: Delhi University on Monday launched the Common Seat Allotment System for UG Admission for the session-2022-23. On this occasion, the Vice Chancellor of DU said that the new session is expected to start from November 1, 2022.
With this, the much-awaited Delhi University admission process started. It is noteworthy that this time Delhi University is giving admission to its students through Combined University Entrance Test (CUET).
The CUET 2022 has been conducted on August 30 for undergraduate level admission in central universities and other institutions across the country. CUET 2022 result can be released on 15th September 2022.
On the occasion of the launch of DU Admission Portal, VC Yogesh Singh said that the new academic session in the university can be started from November 1.
“We are launching CSAS (Common Seat Allocation System) portal for undergraduate courses. This is the first time that we are doing admission through CUET,” he said.
DU’s admission portal will remain open till October 3. The window will remain open for 21 days for the students to get admission in their preferred course.
Students registering for admission will have to fill basic information in filling the application form. After this, the application fee will have to be deposited by uploading the mark sheet, photo and signature.
CSAS will complete the admission process in three phases. The first phase will be filling the application form, in the second phase, the course and college will be selected and in the third phase there will be seat allotment and addition. The merit list of the students will be released after the seat allocation. Admission will be given in the respective courses on the basis of merit list.
