The Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS)-UG- 2023’s First Allocation Round for Admission to the University of Delhi’s Undergraduate Programmes was announced on Tuesday. All programmes and colleges have allocated seats.  With the exception of those whose eligibility requirements call for performance or practical exams.

DU UG Admission 2023: Seat Allotment Result

Based on their preferences for Programme and College Combinations. 202416 qualified candidates were given consideration for allocation in the first round. In the First CSAS round alone. 85853 allocations have been completed. This comprises distribution to all programmes across all colleges for UR, SC, ST, OBC (NCL), EWS, and two superfluous quotas for people with disabilities and Kashmiri migrants.

7042 candidates received their first choice. A seat has been assigned to about 22000 individuals based on their first five selections.

Candidates who received a seat in the first round must accept the seat by Friday, August 4, 2023, at 4:59 p.m. The applications of the Candidates assigned to respective colleges will be reviewed by the colleges. Applications will be processed by the colleges through Saturday.  August 5, 2023, at 4:59 p.m. Candidates whose applications are accepted by the College must submit their fees by Sunday at 4:59 p.m. The College has the right to “raise a query” if they need any clarification from the candidate.

The Candidates who are given a seat in the First Round are required to finish the admissions procedures before the deadline. Only those applicants who successfully complete their application. This includes payment of fees, will be given the option to “Upgrade” to the second round.

Candidates  need to regularly check their dashboards and the university’s admissions website for scheduling modifications.

The second round will be revealed by the university at 5:00 pm on August 10, 2023.
