Excel Mastery: The Department of Kulliyat at Ajmal Khan Tibbiya College hosted a one-week Excel Mastery Workshop that was organised by the Club for Short Evening Courses (CSEC) at Aligarh Muslim University. The workshop’s goal was to provide students with fundamental Excel skills and cutting-edge tools to improve their employability.
The event included daily 90-minute sessions for a total of about 8 hours of in-depth instruction. The workshop offered a thorough educational experience under the direction of Mr. Faisal Noor, Secretary of CSEC, and with the assistance of resource people Prof. Abu Tariq (Department of Electrical Engineering) and Dr. Yusuf Ansari (Department of Petroleum Studies).
The workshop’s opening presentation by Prof. Abu Tariq focused on Excel’s theoretical features, giving the attendees a solid foundation. Dr. Yusuf Ansari continued the journey, helping students understand the critical technical skills by addressing topics like Data Analysis Tools, Data Validation, and Security.

The next days were devoted to interactive practical exercises, under the direction of Dr. Yusuf Ansari, to improve teamwork and communication among Excel users.
At the club’s first meeting, Dr. Syed Khurram Nisar, its president, urged students to actively pursue skill development and provided insightful information about the club’s goals. TPO (G) Mr. Saad Hameed emphasised the value of soft skills.
The session came to an end with a felicitation ceremony, when the Interdisciplinary Biotechnology Unit at AMU’s Chief Guest, Prof. Asad Ullah Khan, was honoured.
