IIT Kanpur Placement 2024: Within eight days, 891 job offers received

IIT Kanpur Placement 2024: In the first phase of the placement drive 2024, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Kanpur) announced that 891 full-time job offers, including pre-placement offers (PPOs), had been extended to 818 students.

The IIT Kanpur placement drive 2024 phase 1 has awarded 21 students job offers from international companies. Microsoft, Fujitsu, Samsung, Reliance, Goldman Sachs, McKinsey, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Deutsche Bank, Tata Projects, Navi, Uniorbit, ICICI Bank, EXL, NPCL, Intel, and TSMC are among the companies participating in the placement drive.

IIT Kanpur Director S Ganesh spoke about the current placement season, noting that the Institute has consistently achieved impressive placement results.

In addition to congratulating all students who have received placements so far, I wish all students appearing for placements the best of luck. Additionally, I would like to thank IIT Kanpur’s dedicated placement cell for providing students with the necessary preparation for interviews and industry challenges.

Founded in 1959, IIT Kanpur is a National Institute. With a sprawling campus spanning over 1055 acres, the institute boasts a wide range of academic and research resources spanning 19 departments, 25 centers, and three interdisciplinary programs in engineering, science, design, humanities, and management disciplines, in addition to over 570 full-time faculty and approximately 9000 students.
