In light of the elections for the Delhi Municipal Corporation (MCD) in 2022, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has decided to close its doors on December 4th.
According to the official notice distributed by the JMI, “The university and all of its maintained institutions, departments, centres, and offices, including Jamia schools and the university library, shall stay closed on December 4 because of the MCD election 2022.”
