Jharkhand NMMS 2023 registration begins; exam on December 17

The date of the NMMS Jharkhand 2023-24 examination is set for December 17, 2023.

Jharkhand NMMS 2023 registration: The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has initiated the National Means Cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) 2023 application procedure. Applications for JAC NMMS 2023 are accepted via the official website, jac-nmms.com, from qualified candidates.

Students are hereby notified that the registration period for the Jharkhand NMMS will conclude on November 17, 2023. The date of the NMMS Jharkhand 2023-24 examination is set for December 17, 2023.

Beneficiaries of the scholarship program in Grades 9 through 12 receive a monetary injection of Rs 12,000. The scholarship application process is not open to students attending Sainik institutions, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, or Kendriya Vidyalaya. Additionally, students enrolled in private schools are ineligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria

Prior academic standing in seventh grade (at least 55 per cent) is a prerequisite for consideration for the JAC NMMS scholarship 2023. In addition to this, the student’s annual familial income must be equal to or below Rs 3.5 lakh. A minimum score of 55% (with a 5% relaxation for reserved categories) on the Class 8 examination is required for students to qualify for a Class 9 scholarship. Scholarships for Class 10 are contingent upon students passing Class 9. Scholarships for Class 11 are contingent on the pupil earning a minimum of 60% in Class 10 (5% is granted for reserved categories). In the same way, the student must succeed in Class 11 in order to qualify for the scholarship in Class 12.

  • Nmms.com is the address of the official JAC NMMS website.
  • Visit the homepage and navigate to the registration link.
  • After entering your registration information, select “Submit.”
  • Proceed by logging into the account.
  • Complete the application form and attach the documents, photographs, and signatures that are required.
  • Make a printout for your records for future reference.
