JoSAA JEE Main 2022 Counselling: Last year IIIT cut off for BTech in CSE CS

JoSAA JEE Main 2022 Counseling: On the basis of JEE Main score, students who want to do B.Tech take admission in IIIT (Triple IT – Indian Institute of Information Technology) institutes apart from NIT institutes. Students looking to take admission must have a look at the previous years’ ranking and cutoff marks. Last year in 2021, admissions for BTech Computer Science seat in IIITs were closed at 8292 in the Highest JEE Main Rank at IIITM Gwalior. Till the time the IIIT Cutoff List 2022 is not announced, students can get a lot of ideas by looking at the previous year’s Computer Science cutoff.

JEE Main: Know about JEE Advanced, JoSAA, CSAB counseling and IIT and NIT admission process

For admission to B.Tech courses conducted in various NIT institutes, students will have to register in JoSAA counselling. A total of 114 institutes will participate in JoSAA counselling. This includes 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs and 33 other Government Funded Technical Institutes (Others-GFTIs). JoSAA counseling schedule will be released after the JEE Advanced 2022 exam is conducted. JEE Advanced exam for admission to IITs across the country will be conducted on August 28, 2022.

JoSAA counseling for both JEE Main and JEE Advanced qualified candidates will begin from September 12. The complete schedule will be released on josaa.nic.in.
