Khan Sir shares UPSC IAS aspirants’ stories at Kapil Sharma show, watch video

Patna Wale Khan Sir, who appeared on The Kapil Sharma Show during the programme, told touching stories about poor candidates preparing for various recruitment exams in order to get government jobs. The show’s audience, which included Kapil Sharma and Archana Puran Singh, became emotional after hearing Khan Sir’s stories. Khan Sir is one of the most well-known faces in the world of online coaching. Khan Sir stated that such children come to him and earn money by working as labourers or washing dishes in other people’s homes. When it comes to collecting fees from such students, their hands tremble.

‘The UPSC Civil Services Exam is the most difficult exam in the country,’ he said. It has an annual fee of Rs 2.5 lakh. However, its fee is only 7.5 thousand rupees. Even this $7,500 seems like a small sum to us, but a girl said, Sir, please do the evening batch in the morning. So I explained how to change the batch for one, and if you have any questions, please let me know. The student stated that one must go to the kitchen to wash the dishes in the evening.

‘There is a child who fills sand in a boat and when that sand is sold, he gets money,’ he said, narrating the story of another student. When such a child brings such hard-earned money to me and hands it over, my hands tremble to accept it.’

Khan Sir: A well-known figure in the world of online education

Khan Sir’s popularity in the world of competitive exam coaching can be gauged by the fact that his videos have received up to 50 lakh views. Some videos have been viewed by one crore people. He has over 5.5 million followers on Twitter and over 6 million followers on Instagram. Aside from that, many books for competitive examinations are published under the name Khan Sir. Although he used to teach in a coaching institute before becoming famous on YouTube, he began taking online classes after the institute was closed down.

Even today, Khan sir’s true identity is unknown. Some call him Amit Singh, while others call him Faisal Khan or Faisal Khan. Some of Khan Sir’s acquaintances revealed his real name as Faisal Khan in a May 2021 interview with news channel Aaj Tak. There’s also a video on the internet where he says, ‘Khan sir’ is the name of a jugaad, and people call us Amit Singh.’ Khan sir, on the other hand, has not yet officially revealed his real name. He has clearly stated that his real name is not Khan Sir.

Khan sir says in a video that many times in class, jokingly, children start insisting on me telling them their real or full name. ‘When we were in Patna, we used to celebrate every festival together, whether it was Diwali, Saraswati Puja, Raksha Bandhan, or Eid,’ he said. Due to the lockdown, I was forced to use the online platform. Nothing has been preserved in the name. I once jokingly stated that people call me Amit Singh. However, being called implies that my name is Amit Singh.

In an interview with a television station, he stated that he wanted to serve in the military. He also passed the NDA exam, but due to his crooked hand, he was not chosen.
