MBBS Seats: This year studies will start in Purnia Medical College, 150 seats will increase in Bihar

Purnia Medical College is expected to begin medical studies this year, with MBBS seats available. The Purnea Medical College has been inspected by the Medical Council of India, which has been requested by the health department. With the opening of this college, Bihar will gain 150 medical seats.

In fact, the Health Department attempted to begin studies at Purnia Medical College last year as well. The MCI team also visited Purnia, but the MCI denied permission to study there due to a lack of infrastructure and insufficient teachers. This time, the department has fixed any flaws that were present the previous time. Teachers’ salaries have been restored. Some unfinished construction projects have also been completed. As a result, the department has requested that the MCI inspect the Purnia Medical College. The MCI team is expected to visit Purnea Medical College soon, according to officials. Following that, permission will be granted for medical studies here.

It should be noted that a medical college was built in Purnia at a cost of Rs 346.28 crore. There are 500 beds available. There are 519 beds in the hostel. The college administration is in charge of the process prior to the start of medical studies. Purnia Medical College will be an asset to the development of Seemanchal. Its absence was felt in the divisional headquarters. The college is situated on 23 acres of land. The hospital is also constructing a 200-bed Dharamshala. Along with the residents of Purnia, the people of Seemanchal will benefit from the establishment of the college in terms of treatment.
