NEET: MBBS and medical PG seats will not remain vacant in medical colleges, government bringing new system

Apart from this, about three thousand MBBS seats of management quota were not filled. According to sources, the process of deliberation has started to find a solution to the issue. The proposals that are being discussed for this will have criteria so that the vacant seats can be filled.

Health Ministry sources said that more seats in the management quota remain vacant. Because more amount is demanded by medical colleges, while some seats in PG also remain vacant because no one applies for them.

91 thousand seats of MBBS across the country

There are 91 thousand MBBS seats and 42 thousand PG seats in the country. This year, 930 seats in the vacant seats of PG were of super specialty courses, whose total number is 7748 in the country. The process of filling these seats is going on now.
