NEET PG Seats : 5930 NEET PG seats in India will increase in 22 states see statewise details

NEET PG Seats: 5930 seats of NEET PG will increase in 22 states of the country. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya gave this information in Lok Sabha. He said that the State Medical Colleges would be upgraded under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme (CSS). There medical PG seats will increase and new PG subjects will start. Under this, 5930 seats have been approved in 22 states/UTs in two phases.

The Union Minister said that the eligibility of DNB has been recognized for appointment to the post of faculty to meet the shortage of faculty. Under the Central Sector Scheme, 75 projects have been approved by creating a super specialty blog for the upgradation of Government Medical Colleges.

NEET PG 2022 counseling from 1st September
The counseling for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Post Graduate) will start from September 1. Official sources said on Saturday that students who qualify the NEET-PG 2022 exam can fill their choices regarding courses and colleges during the counseling process for admission to All India quota seats, state medical and dental colleges and central and deemed universities. Will be able Officials said that PG counseling will begin simultaneously for 50 per cent seats in all central universities, deemed universities and all India quota seats and 50 per cent seats in state quota of medical and dental colleges. He informed that the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) under the Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health will conduct the counseling in online mode.
