RRB Group D CBT 2022 date: Railway Group D exam date released, check admit card release date

Railways has said that from July 17, the Railway Group D recruitment exam will be conducted in several phases.

RRB Group D CBT 2022 date: Railway Group D recruitment exam will now start from 17th August instead of last week of July. The Railway Recruitment Board made this announcement by issuing a notice on its official website on Thursday. Railways has said that from July 17, the Railway Group D recruitment exam will be conducted in several phases. This time the Aadhaar verification of the candidates will also be done. Let us tell you that earlier the Railways had said that the Railway Group D Recruitment Exam will start from the last week of July and will run till September. In such a situation, candidates were waiting for their admit card and exam city details to come. But now they have to wait a little longer.

RRB Group D Admit Card – Railway Group D Admit Card

According to the earlier rules, it can be said that the admit cards will start issuing four days ago from August 13 or August 14. And 10 days before that i.e. on 7th August the exam city details will be released.

In this recruitment of Railways, 1.03 lakh vacancies of Group D will be filled. 1 crore 15 lakh people had applied for the recruitment of Group D posts.

Selection in Group D Recruitment (Level-1) will be through Single Stage Exam. There will be no second CBT.

Candidates will be selected in Railway Group D Recruitment on the basis of Computer Based Test (CBT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Successful candidates in CBT will be called in PET.

Exam Pattern (RRC RRB Railway Group D Exam Pattern)

The paper will be of 100 marks. The questions will also be 100. Each question will be of 1 mark each. A total time of 90 minutes will be given. In this, 25 questions will be asked from General Science, 25 from Maths, 30 from General Intelligence and Reasoning, 20 from General Awareness and Current Affairs. There will be negative marking in the exam. One third mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. To pass in the written test (CBT), the general category candidates will have to secure 40 percent, EWS 40 percent, OBC (Non Creamy Layer) 30 percent, SC and ST category candidates 30-30 percent minimum marks.

Successful candidates in CBT will be called for Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

PET conditions for female and male candidates-

For male candidates

With a weight of 35 kg at a time, a distance of 100 meters has to be covered in 2 minutes.
1000 meters race has to be completed in 4 minutes 15 seconds.

For female candidates

With a weight of 20 kg at a time, a distance of 100 meters has to be covered in 2 minutes.
1000 meters race has to be completed in 5 minutes 40 seconds.
