RRB NTPC Recruitment 2022: Railway nptc typing test cbtsc rules and instruction released

RRB NTPC Recruitment 2022: Computer Based Skill Test (CBTST) for RRB NTPC Recruitment is going to be conducted from 12th August 2022. Railway Recruitment Board has issued guidelines for this skill test. Railway Recruitment Board has said that city related information of NTPC Skill Test will be released on 3rd August 2022. Candidates will have to type at least 300 words in English or 250 words in Hindi. Candidates will have to type in either English or Hindi as per the option given by them on the RRB websites. For those who have not exercised their option, English will be the typing language. Candidates who have opted for Hindi option for typing test must be familiar with the usage of Kruti Dev or Mangal font.

The exam session will be in three parts i.e. – 1. Typing practice for one minute to warm-up and familiarize the keyboard. 2. Break of 30 seconds and 3. Typing test for 10 minutes which will be taken for evaluation.

Speed ​​will be checked in skill test. In such a situation, the candidate who can type the entire passage in 10 minutes, he can retype that passage from the beginning within 10 minutes. Candidates who will not be able to type the entire passage at least once in 10 minutes will be disqualified. Transcripts of candidates having 300 words in English or 250 words in Hindi within the stipulated time will not be evaluated.

Mistakes will be divided into full mistakes and half mistakes. Out of the total words typed, 5% mistakes will be ignored. Typing speed should be 30 words per minute in English and 25 words per minute in Hindi.
