The Rajasthan Board of Education has reduced the number of summer vacation days while increasing the number of winter vacation days this year.
Winter vacations in schools have been extended in several states due to dense fog, severe cold, and a cold wave. The Punjab government has extended winter vacations in all public and private schools until January 8. According to the School Education Minister, the schools will now open on January 9, 2023, rather than January 2, 2023.
Schools in many districts across the state will be closed beginning Monday due to the growing cold. All Patna schools, from Nursery to VIII, will be closed until January 7. On Sunday, DM Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh issued this order. Because the 8th is a Sunday, schools will now open on the 9th. The DM had previously ordered school closures from December 28 to December 31. However, four schools in Gopalganj, five in Saran, five in Buxar, seven in Aurangabad, four in Arrah, seven in Biharsharif, and seven in Jehanabad will remain closed until January. Gaya’s schools will be closed for a week as well. Simultaneously, three schools in Bhagalpur, six in Khagaria, and all in Katihar and Munger will be closed until January 5.
