SSC CGL 2022 Notification: How to apply at ssc.nic.in, check selection process

The last date for submission of online application is October 8, 2022 till 11 PM. No application will be accepted after 11 PM.

SSC CGL Notification 2022: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the notification for Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2022 on 17th September. Candidates who want to apply for this competitive exam can do so by visiting the official website ssc.nic.in.

Application date

The last date for submission of online application is October 8, 2022 till 11 PM. No application will be accepted after 11 PM. For SSC CGL 2022 post, candidates should be minimum 18-20 years and maximum 30-32 years as on January 1, 2022.

SSC CGL 2022: How to apply

Step 1- First of all go to the official website ssc.nic.in.

Step 2- Go to “Latest News” and click on “Notice of Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2022”

Step 3- First login and then fill the form.

Step 5- Pay the application fee.

Step 6- Submit the form.

Step 7- Download and keep a copy with you.

Without these documents you will not be able to apply

– Aadhar card

– voter card

– pan card

– School pass certificate and mark sheet

– Graduation pass certificate and mark sheet

Category certificate, if required

– Passport size photo

The selection process

Firstly, applicants have to appear in computer based Tier 1 exam which will be of 200 marks. Those who qualify SSC CGL Tier 1 exam will be called for Tier 2 exam. Both Tier 1 and 2 exams will be conducted in online mode.

On the other hand, SSC CGL Tier 3 exam is going to be a pen-paper test. Candidates shortlisted in Tier 2 will be eligible to appear in Tier 3 exam. The final stage or Tier 4 exam will consist of Computer Proficiency Test / Data Entry Skill Test.

Let us tell you, SSC CGL exam is conducted to recruit candidates to various Group B and C posts under the departments of Government of India.
