SSC Stenographer Exam 2023: SSC Stenographer Exam 2023: On October 12 and 13, 2023, the Staff Selection Commission is scheduled to administer the SSC Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and ‘D’ Examination 2023. Those who have enrolled for the examination can access the link to their admit cards and additional exam day instructions on this page.
For direct recruitment to the positions of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ (Group ‘B’ Non-Gazetted) and Stenographer Grade ‘D’ (Group ‘C’), which are available in numerous Ministries/Departments/Organizations, including their Attached offices, Subordinate offices, and Statutory bodies of the Government of India situated in different States and Union Territories, the Staff Selection Commission will administer a computer-based examination.

The SSC Stenographer 2023 evaluation will consist of two distinct phases. The online Grade C and D examination comprises multiple-choice questions and constitutes the initial level. The candidates who have been shortlisted will subsequently undertake the skill-based assessment administered by SSC.
A negative marking of one-third of the total marks assigned to the question will be applied to each incorrect response during the computer-based examination. Consequently, it is recommended that candidates bear this in mind when responding to inquiries.

Those who meet the requirements of the computer-based examination will be required to undertake a stenography skills test. Applicants will be required to recite for a duration of ten minutes in either Hindi or English, contingent upon the selection they indicate on the online application form. The dictation process will be carried out at 100 words per minute (w.p.m.) for the Stenographer Grade ‘C’ position and 80 w.p.m. for the Stenographer Grade ‘D’ position.
