UPPSC Exam: 72.26 percent candidates appeared in the Medical Officer Community Health (Ayurvedic and Unani) 2021 Screening Examination conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission on Sunday. A total of 13788 candidates were registered in the examination held at Prayagraj and Lucknow for direct recruitment to 962 posts. Commission’s examination controller Ajay Kumar Tiwari said that 9963 (72.26%) candidates appeared and 3825 were absent.
Out of 5819 candidates registered at 14 centers in Prayagraj, 4276 (73.5%) were present and 1543 were absent. On the other hand, out of 7969 candidates registered at 16 centers in Lucknow, 5687 (71.36%) were present and 2282 were absent. The screening test conducted in the 11 am to 1 pm shift was of total 300 marks. There were total three parts in the question paper. Question numbers one to 50 in Part A, General Studies, Question numbers 51 to 75 in Part B, National Health Programme, 76 to 150 in Part (C-1) and Ayurveda from 76 to 150 in Part (C-2) 76 to 150 Unani subjects had questions. Part A and B was compulsory for all the candidates. Part (C-1) and (C-2) had to choose any one.
