Tbhk Reboot Release Date: Cast, Plot, Trailer

This endeavour is referred to as a "anime project restart."

Tbhk Reboot Release Date: The Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun anime is returning! A teaser image and announcement trailer were released earlier today, revealing that the project is receiving a reboot.

Tbhk Reboot Release Date

The new season is scheduled to premiere in 2023, although details about the cast remain unclear. This endeavour is referred to as a “anime project restart.”

Megumi Ogata and Akari Kito, who previously portrayed Hanako and Nene in the first season of the TV anime, can be heard in the special trailer.

The première of the 12-episode first season occurred in 2020, but some deviations from the original source material were present. It was directed by Masaomi Ando and animated by Lerche. Interestingly, the series also announced a musical adaptation in 2020.

Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun Anime Set for Reboot

Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun is an anime series with a total of 12 episodes that debuted in 2020. However, it has been decided to restart the series in order to adapt the manga faithfully.

The objective is to create a more accurate and potentially even better production for the reboot. It is currently unknown whether the original animation studio, Lerche, will return to produce the revival.

During its initial run, the anime became the second most popular series of the Winter 2020 season, just behind Haikyuu! Season 4. Despite some criticism for omitting portions of the manga, the anime was well-received by audiences.

It garnered Best Character Design at the 2021 Crunchyroll Awards and Anime of the Season (Winter) at the 2020 Anime Trending Awards. In addition, it was awarded fourth place at Anime Corner’s 2020 Anime of the Year Awards.

Toilet-Bound Hanako-Kun Manga Reaches 18 Volumes

The manga series Toilet-Bound Hanako-Kun was created by AidaIro. Since its debut in Monthly GFantasy magazine in 2014, a total of 18 volumes have been released.

The release date for the upcoming volume has not been announced as of yet. In 2017, Yen Press, an American publisher, licenced the series in English and initially published the manga in digital format.

However, Yen Press did not begin publishing the print version of the manga until 2020. The first 16 volumes have been published, and Volume 17 is scheduled for release on February 21, 2023. In addition, Yen Press published Volume 0, the series’ prequel, as well as an official art collection.

According to Yen Press, the anime is based on a manga by AidaIro and follows a specific narrative.
