APPSC Departmental Test postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic, check details here

APPSC Departmental Test postponed update: Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission and on Sunday postponed the Departmental Test till further notice, according to reports.

The commission took the decision to cancel the exam after considering suggestions made by the public representatives and in of the Covid-19 situation.

While the APPSC Departmental Tests, May 2020 Session examination (Objective and Conventional papers) is scheduled to be held from September 25 to September 1 (excluding 29th and 30th), the Commission has not yet announced the new examination dates.

APPSC Departmental Test: Application and other details

The Commission had inviting the Departmental Tests applications from the candidates for May 2020 Session Examinations through ONLINE only on payment of Rs.50/- for each Test.

Applicants primarily shall register the One Time Profile Registration (OTPR) through the

Commission’s Website viz., https://psc.ap.gov.in. Once applicant registers his/her particulars,

a User ID is generated and sent to his/her registered mobile number and email ID. Applicants

need to apply for the Tests using the OTPR User ID through Commission’s website.

APPSC Departmental Test: Eligibility Criteria

Andhra Pradesh employees are eligible to apply for the Tests that are prescribed in their respective Departmental Service Rules.

Typists-cum-Assets working in Finance and Planning (Finance Wing) are eligible to

appear for the Treasuries & Accounts Service Examination.

As many as 1,72,703 candidates were supposed to appear for the exam.
