The restructured admission process is as below:

All processes requiring the candidates to physically visit TISS campuses for admission procedures have been restructured. Hence, candidates are NOT required to travel to TISS campuses for completing admission processes. The process will be completed via online mode as described below.

Stage II of Admission will now consist of only the Personal Interview (PI). The Pre-Interview Test (PIT) will NOT be administered.

The weightages for different components are reallocated as below:

TISS-NET : 60% (For HRM and ODCL programmes the score will be combined of TISS NET and TISS MAT in 40:20 ratio)

PIT : 0 (this component is cancelled for this year only)

PI : 40%

For all candidates who have already attended the PIT and PI in Mumbai Campus, the respective score for PIT will be discarded and ONLY their TISS Net and PI Scores will be considered for final assessment.

Candidates who are yet to undergo the PI process will be required to give the personal interview remotely using online platforms. The details of individual PI schedules will be communicated to the candidates shortly. Information about online mode will also be given out soon.

The revised schedule of admission process will be as follows.

Personal Interview (Mumbai, Tuljapur, Hyderabad) : June 8 – 17, 2020

Personal Interview (Guwahati) : June 29 – July 4, 2020)

Announcement of 1st Merit List : July 20, 2020

Beginning of Academic Session : August 3, 2020 (except in Guwahati campus where the date will be announced separately ) The detailed schedule of PIs for each of the TISS campuses will be released shortly. Candidates are advised to visit the TISS website for further information.

The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) was established in 1936 as the Sir Dorabji Tata Graduate School of Social Work. In 1944, it was renamed as the Tata Institute of Social Sciences.
