AFCAT 2 2021 final merit list update: Indian Air Force has released the final AFCAT 2 2021 merit list on its official website (afcat.cdac.in).

While the merit list has been prepared after considering eligibility, vacancies in each branch, order of Merit, medical fitness and choices given by the candidates, successful candidates have to join AFA for training for various courses starting from July 11, 2022.

AFCAT 2 2021 final merit list: Important points at a glance

The date and time of reporting at AFA is given in call letters. Candidates who are in possession of ‘signed Joining Instructions’ are to report at Reception Cell located on Platform No.10 of Secunderabad Railway Station / Airport between 09:00 AM to 06:00 PM between 09-10 Jul 22 and should be in possession of negative RTPCR report for test conducted within 72 hours prior to reporting. Late Reporting by candidates will NOT (R) NOT be accepted under any circumstances.

Eligible candidates in the Selection List, who do not produce the requisite proof of acquiring the qualifying degree by July 4, 2022 but are confident of doing so, may seek entry on ‘Bond Basis’. Call Letters (Bond Basis) is being dispatched to the address available on record.

Such candidates would be provisionally inducted for training on submission of an additional Bond and a demand draft Rs.71280/- (Rupees Seventy one thousand two hundred and eighty only) in favour of Commandant, Air Force Academy, payable at Secunderabad. Specimen copy of the Bond is available on the Instruction Booklet on website.

Candidates joining on ‘Bond Basis’ will be required to produce the Original/ Provisional Degree Certificate and original mark statements of all semesters/ years, latest by September 9, 2022 to the Training Wing Adjutant, Air Force Academy. On production of the proof of meeting all the eligibility criteria, the deposit of Rs.71280/- (Rupees Seventy one thousand two hundred and eighty only) would be refunded in full. In case of failure to do so by September 9, 2022, the training will be terminated and the cost of training would be adjusted against the amount deposited with AFA.
