AITT Result 2022: The result of All India Trade Test (AITT) 2022 for Craftsman Training Scheme will be declared today on September 7, 2022. Trainees will be able to view their results on the DGTMIS portal. The certificates will be distributed on September 17, 2022, the auspicious day of Vishwakarma Jayanti, as it will be celebrated as the convocation day. This year the result percentage stood at 89.13 percent (out of 16.6 lakhs who appeared for the exam). The Directorate General of Training (DGT) under the aegis of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) is the premier agency for imparting vocational training to Indian youth under the flagship Skill India program of the government. It is streamlining the process of enrollment and evaluation of trainees which is now online. It is implemented by ITIs and the duration of these training courses varies between 6 months to 2 years.

As per the National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF), these courses have 150 vocational courses including 82 engineering professions, 63 non-engineering and five courses for Persons with Disabilities (PWD).

According to a statement from the ministry, at present 20 lakh trainees are receiving training in 14,786 ITIs, both government and private. The scheme is foremost in the field of vocational training and is engaged in the preparation of craftsmen to meet the existing as well as future manpower requirements through a vast network of ITIs spread across various States and Union Territories in the country. .
