Telangana NMMS Result 2023: National Means combined Merit Scholarship (NMMS) Result 2023: The Directorate of Government Examinations Telangana has announced the NMMS Result 2023. On the NMMS Telangana official website, bse.telangana.gov.in, students who applied for the scholarship can view their results.

On December 18, 2022, the Telangana National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme Examination for Class 8 was administered in Telugu, Hindi, Urdu, and English. The minimum qualifying score for each paper is 40%, and for SC/ST candidates it is 32%.

The National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS) is a centrally funded scholarship programme launched by the Indian Ministry of Human Resource Development. Under this scheme, an examination is held annually for students enrolled in class 8 at Government/Local Body/Municipal/Aided Schools/Modal schools that do not have residential facilities (i.e., only from non-Residential Schools), and those who pass are eligible for a scholarship.

Across 33 districts, 2,716 students have been selected for the scholarship. While candidate number 283 hails from the Rangareddy district. Class 9 and 10 selected students will receive a scholarship of Rs 1,000 per month for two years.
