Former Chief Justice KG Balakrishnan to deliver the keynote address at Aligarh Muslim University

The panelists include Prof Gurpreet Mahajan, Prof Anand Kumar, Prof Zoya Hasan, Prof Sanjeev Kumar HM, and Prof Asmer Beg.

Aligarh: The Department of Political Science, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) will organise a two-day National Seminar on ‘Towards a Just-India: Challenges and Prospects’ on September 3-4, 2019.

The keynote address of the seminar will be delivered by K G Balakrishnan, former Chief Justice of India and former chairperson, National Human Rights Commission on September 3 at 10 AM, at University Polytechnic auditorium, which will be followed by a panel discussion.

The panelists include Prof Gurpreet Mahajan, Prof Anand Kumar, Prof Zoya Hasan, Prof Sanjeev Kumar HM, and Prof Asmer Beg.

Prof Nigar Zuberi (Chairperson, Department of Political Science) is the coordinator of the seminar while Dr Khurram is the convener.

The seminar is sponsored by Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi.
