It is essential to be aware that barefoot walking increases the likelihood of a bee sting, but it is also important to remember the many benefits that bees provide.

Insecticides, especially those containing neonicotinoids, which are lethal to bees, as well as pollution, chemical exposure, and temperature fluctuations, pose a threat to their survival. Bees have even made their way into popular culture. A comical animated film published in 2007 titled “Bee Movie” depicted a honey bee suing humans for exploiting bees. In addition, Dave Goulson’s 2014 book, “A Sting in the Tale,” describes the biology of bees and his endeavours to save bumblebees in Britain.
People must recognise that if we don’t do our part to preserve pollinators, we could drive them to extinction, which will have repercussions for ecosystems.
