BPSC Recruitment 2022: Bihar BPSC Assistant Vacancy Online Form for 44 Post

BPSC Assistant Recruitment 2022: Bihar Public Service Commission has invited applications for 44 Assistant posts. The appointment will be for Bihar Public Service Commission, Patna. Interested candidates will be able to apply for these posts by visiting www.bpsc.bih.nic.in today, September 7, 2022.

The last date for online application is 30 September 2022. Out of total 44 posts, 23 posts are unreserved. 4 posts are reserved for EWS, 7 AC, 8 MBC, 1 BC category. One post is reserved for women from backward classes.

Qualification –

Graduation in any discipline. It is mandatory for the applicant to be a graduate degree holder by the last date of application.

Age Limit – 21 Years to 37 Years. Age will be calculated from 1st August 2022. Backward Classes and Extremely Backward Classes (Women and Men) – 40 years, Unreserved women – 40 years. Male and female of SC and ST category – 42 years.

Pay Scale – Pay Level – 7, 44900-142400

Selection –

The exam will be held in two phases. Successful candidates in the preliminary examination will be called for the main examination. In the preliminary examination, 50-50 questions will be asked from all the three subjects, General Knowledge, General Science and Mathematics, Reasoning. All questions will be of objective type carrying one mark. The exam will be of 2 hours 15 minutes.

Books will be allowed in the preliminary examination

Candidates will be allowed to carry the book in the prelims exam. Only one book will be allowed for each section. That is, three books can be carried. In the books, only text books of NCERT, Bihar Board or ICSE and other boards will be valid. Guides, photocopies, notes will not be allowed.

The final merit list will be decided on the basis of the marks obtained in the main examination.
