OPSC PCS: Odisha Civil Services Notification released, Check vacancy

The Civil Services Exam will be used this time to fill 683 Group A and Group B positions in various departments of the state government.

OPSC PCS: The Odisha Public Service Commission has announced the State Civil Services Examination 2022. (OCS). The Civil Services Exam will be used this time to fill 683 Group A and Group B positions in various departments of the state government. Odisha Administrative Service Group-A (Junior Branch), Odisha Co-operative Service Group B, Odisha Labor Service Group B, Odisha Revenue Service Group B, Odisha Transport Service Group B, and Odisha Taxation and Accounts Service Group B will all be hiring. Interested candidates can apply beginning on January 17, 2023, by visiting opsc.gov.in. The online application deadline is February 16, 2023.

Eligibility

Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university in any discipline.

Age Group

Candidates should be between the ages of 21 and 38. Age will be calculated beginning January 1, 2022.
According to State Government rules, candidates from various reserved categories who are Odisha State residents will have their upper age limit relaxed. The candidate must have been born between January 2, 1984 and January 1, 2001.

Preliminary exam, main exam, and interview.

In the Prelims Exam, there will be two GS papers: Paper-1 (200 marks) and Paper-2 (300 marks).

Paper-2: 200 points

There will be negative marking in the preliminary exams. For each incorrect answer, one-third of a mark will be deducted.

For general category candidates, the maximum number of attempts is six, while there is no limit for SC and AC candidates.
