PSSSB Punjab postpones clerk recruitment written exam 2022 to Aug 6

PSSSB Punjab postpones clerk recruitment: Recently, the Punjab Subordinate Service Selection Board (PSSSB) issued a notice informing applicants of the postponement of the written examination for the position of Clerk (Advertisement No. 15/2022). The exam, which was originally scheduled for July 16, 2023, has been rescheduled for August 6, 2023.

PSSSB Punjab postpones clerk recruitment

While the reason for the postponement has not been made public, the PSSSB has assured candidates that the new exam date will be communicated to them via SMS and email. Candidates are encouraged to visit the PSSSB website at https://sssb.punjab.gov.in/ frequently for updates.

The Clerk recruitment campaign offers a substantial number of vacancies in various categories. There are 1,200 vacancies for the positions of Clerk and Legal Clerk, while there are 735 vacancies for the positions of Clerk, IT, and Accounts Clerk. There are 1,935 available positions for qualified candidates.

To provide a breakdown of the vacancies, Advt No. 02/2022 has 283 Legal Clerk vacancies, Advt No. 03/2022 has 917 Clerk vacancies, Advt No. 15/2022 has 704 Clerk vacancies, 10 Clerk IT vacancies, and 21 Clerk Accounts vacancies.

Applicants who have already submitted an application for the Clerk examination should visit the PSSSB website for the most recent information regarding the new exam date. To ensure adequate preparation and a seamless examination process, it is crucial to remain informed of any schedule adjustments.
